De Vita<\/strong> in 1988, <strong>M. Tubiana<\/strong> in 1991, <strong>B. Vogelstein<\/strong> in 1993, <strong>P. Nurse<\/strong> in 1995, and then the Nobel Prize in 2001.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium; color: #494949;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium; color: #494949;\">The Pezcoller-AACR Award annually recognize a scientist of international renown:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium; color: #494949;\">who has made a major scientific<strong>\u00a0discovery<\/strong>\u00a0in basic cancer research, or<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium; color: #494949;\">who has made significant\u00a0<strong>contributions\u00a0<\/strong>to translational cancer research,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium; color: #494949;\">who continues to be\u00a0<strong>active\u00a0<\/strong>in cancer research and has a record of recent, noteworthy publications and<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;
