Young Researcher Awards

During the Pezcoller Symposium a Poster Session is held to provide young researchers with an opportunity to present their research and potentially gain the attention of leading scientists.

Submitted abstracts will be evaluated blindly by a Scientific Committee composed by representatives of the Pezcoller Foundation, EACR, AACR and The Mark Foundation for Cancer Research.

The authors of the best abstracts may be eligible for one of these recognitions.

Best Poster Lecture

The 3 top abstract submitters will be invited for oral presentation during the plenary session, in front of the faculty and other participants.

The oral presentation will be 10 minutes long and will be followed by short Q&As.

Pezcoller-Begnudelli Award

Established in 2003 in memory of Maria Begnudelli, these awards, offered by the Pezcoller Foundation, are assigned annually to the authors of the best abstracts working in Italian institutions, who attend the Pezcoller Symposium.

Today, more than fifty young researchers have received this recognition.

EMBO Poster Prize

The author of the most-voted poster during the two-day Symposium will receive the EMBO Press–funded Poster Prize (€200).
