Awards and Travel Grants
During the Pezcoller Symposium is organized a Poster Session to give to young researchers an opportunity to present their research and, potentially, be noticed by leading scientists.
A specific scientific committee blindly evaluates the submitted abstracts and ranks them, according to the quality of the research project.
The authors of the top 3 posters have the opportunity to present their research work in a plenary session, in front of the speakers and other participants.

BEGNUDELLI AWARD
Established in 2003, in memory of Maria Begnudelli, these are awards of €500 to the best researchers working in Italian laboratory, institution or university, who have presented their research in the poster session.
POSTER PRIZE
The author of the most voted poster during the two-day Symposium will win the Poster Prize funded by EMBO Press, which amounts to €200.
BEST ABSTRACT AWARDS
The authors of the top abstracts working in non-Italian facilities can receive €500 prize/each, by EACR, AACR and Mark Foundation
TRAVEL GRANTS
Since 2024, thanks support by EACR, AACR and The Mark Foundation, best abstracts’ authors who work in european or internationally insitutions, university or laboratory could recieve a Travel Grants to support registration fees and travel costs.
