The Pezcoller Symposia represent one of the most prestigious events in the international scientific landscape.
Every year since 1989 in Trento, they bring together top global experts in cancer research – including Nobel Laureates and leaders from international research institutes – for an open discussion on cutting-edge topics in cancer research.
Conceived through an intuition of Enrico Mihich and developed under the guidance of David Livingston, today the Chairman is Nobel Laureate William G. Kaelin.

POSTER SESSION and AWARDS to YOUNG RESEARCHER
Great importance is given to the presence of young researchers, who are invited to present their studies in the Poster Session.
The authors of the top research abstracts evaluated by the Symposium Committee could win:
- Pezcoller-Begnudelli Award, tto the author of the best abstract from an Italian institution
- Best Abstract Prizes, (funded by EACR, AACR, and the Mark Foundation) to the authors of the best abstracts from European or international institutions.
