The Pezcoller Foundation-SIC Patrizia Coser Fellowship

Established through the dedication of the “Patty Coser” Association, this fellowship was created in memory of Patrizia Coser, who passed away at just 30 years old due to a rare angiosarcoma.

This initiative demonstrates how the commitment of a family, an association, and an entire community – of Grauno (Trento) – can transform the grief of a loss into a tangible contribution to cancer research, providing young researchers with the resources needed to develop new insights and therapeutic avenues.

The recipient of the fellowship named in honor of Patty Coser for the 2020/2021 two-year period is Federico Gulluni from the University of Torino.

Transforming memory into hope and community generosity into new opportunities for healing is the noblest way to keep the spirit of a daughter and sister alive.

Our deepest gratitude goes to the “Patty Coser” Association, Patrizia’s family, and the entire community of Grauno.
