The Pezcoller Foundation-SIC-Paola Corona Fellowship
Established in 2026 by the Brunet family — Bruno together with his daughters Francesca and Ester — this two-year fellowship (€30,000/year) was created to honor the memory of their beloved wife and mother, Paola Corona.
Awarded in collaboration with the Italian Cancer Society (SIC), this new fellowship offers an outstanding young talent in medical science the opportunity to carry out a high-level cancer research project at a leading Italian university or research institute.
The recipient of this fellowship for the 2027–2028 academic years is Caterina De Rosa of the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli,” with a research project on small-cell lung cancer.

A donation to research is a gift to the future of every single one of us. Transforming the love and memory of a dear person into a concrete resource for research means giving hope and life to the entire community. To the Brunet family and to the memory of Paola Corona goes our deepest gratitude.
