This Award is presently discontinued.
A biennial award, first established in collaboration with the European Scholl of Oncology (ESO) in 1994 and subsequently in collaboration with the Federation of European Cancer Societies (FECS) in 1999.
The award was aimed to recognize a single health professional (doctor, clinician, scientist, biologist, nurse, etc.) for his/her unique contribution to Oncology and for dedication of his/her professional life to the fight against cancer.
The amount of the award honorarium was €30.000.
The winner of the “FECS – Pezcoller Recognition” was presented at the biennial European Cancer Conference ECCO.
