ABOUT THE AWARD
Established in 2020, the Pezcoller-Marina Larcher Fogazzaro-EACR Women in Cancer Research Award celebrates the achievements of women working in cancer research.
The winner gives the prestigious Pezcoller-Marina Larcher Fogazzaro-EACR Women in Cancer Research Award Lecture at the EACR Annual Congress.
The award winner will receive a €10,000 honorarium. As an invited speaker, the award winner will receive a free registration for the EACR Congress, plus accommodation and travel costs. She will also be invited to give a lecture in Trento, Italy, at a date to be agreed.
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
for the 2024 AWARD CLOSED
We invite the nomination of cancer researchers who have demonstrated academic excellence and achievements in the field of cancer research and who have, through leadership or by example, furthered the advancement of women in cancer research. Self-nominations cannot be accepted.
Nominees must meet the following criteria:
- Have spent at least the last 5 years working in Europe
- Be currently employed in a European institution
Deadline for receipt of nominations: 14 September 2023
Documents to send:
- Completed Nomination Form
- A one page letter of support giving the reasons for the nomination
- A concise curriculum vitae from the nominee
- Details of the nominee’s relevant publications
