Grant funded for a new research project
Optimizing the clinical pathway of patients with advanced prostate cancer. This is the goal of a research project in which the provincial health services agency, the University of Trento and the Pezcoller Foundation are working side by side. Apss and the University have long been collaborating in the field of biomedical research, an area in which the Pezcoller Foundation is also present, promoter of several initiatives to support the development of biomedical research in Trentino through the funding of scholarships and doctoral degrees aimed at the study of cancer. Among these, a 12-month fellowship was recently awarded as part of a research project dedicated to biomolecular analysis of the blood of patients with advanced prostate cancer undergoing next-generation hormone therapy.
